Pray with us for:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 2 Vladimir T. 6

Israel and the Church Our forefathers were characterized more by disobedience than by obedience. That is why they were twice sent into a terrible exile, the second much longer and more awful than the first. That is also why they rejected the Messiah when he came; they wanted someone to cater to their wants, free them from the yoke of Roam rule and crown them princes of the nations. But God sent Jesus to call the people to repent, replace their priorities with the right ones and to serve God faithfully. God raised up the church to fulfill the role of Israel while calling Israel as a nation to repentance. The day will come – God has promised that it will come – when Israel will accept the yoke of his kingdom, believe in Jesus the Messiah and serve him with eager faithfulness. Israel will yet resume its role in the world and call the nations to repentance and believe the message of God's holiness and grace. You and I should take part in the implementation of this divine plan by believing in and obeying the Gospel. |
